Responsible for leading patient experience strategy by creating human-centered experiences that touch both patients and employees in a way that uniquely connects them. Serves as a liaison to the UCHealth CARE Innovation Center as a subject matter expert for end user experience.

Eric comes from outside of healthcare, having spent a good portion of his career in financial services with roles in technology, digital, data and analytics, as well as design.

Responsible for system strategy and digital innovation for the integrated delivery network (IDN) which includes 52 hospitals and 1,085 clinics and serves over 5 million unique patients. Deep experience in both digital and enterprise strategy development and leads system strategy, the ongoing development and evolution of Providence’s integrated strategic and financial plan and cross-collaboration of the Providence councils as Providence continues to advance toward and design the system of the future.

Chris leads strategic efforts for boards and senior leaders in enterprise planning, service line planning, digital health and innovation, population health, and rural health. Chris is also Executive Director of the Center for Innovation and Transformative Care at the University of Kansas – a partnership among The University of Kansas Medical Center, The University of Kansas Health System, and the Clinical Departments at the University of Kansas - where he focuses on the intersection of digital technology and the art of medicine including artificial intelligence, digital care delivery, and emerging technology enabled devices.
